This tune is by one of my favorite artists, Cat Stevens. This was released in 1970 off of his album Tea For The Tillerman. This is one of those albums I love to put on while I work on a project or clean up.
Fun fact: Cat Stevens painted the album artwork himself.
Listen for… The way Stevens uses his acoustic guitar like a percussion instrument. Also the power in his voice in this track. There’s so much grit and excitement. Also, take a listen to the strings, they’re adding a lot of drama as well.
Hope you enjoy!
